Minimum age required: 8 years old. No exception Classes are open to kids, teens and young adults of all levels provided they are in good physical condition. Students count is split between several small groups of 5 at most and of similar level and age.
Trial course: free but requires prior registration (please fill-in form below)
Autumn 2018 season:
Classes start: 2 & 3 March 2019 Last classes of the season: 29 & 30 June 2019
No class on: 20 & 21 April and 27 & 28 April 2019
Saturday and/or Sunday (except school holidays): 10:00-11:30AM
Annual membership: 40CHF per family Payment of the annual membership to GVASK8 is mandatory. It will not be reimbursed in case the student decides to stop classes prior to the end date of membership period
4 months classes (except public holidays and primary school vacations in Geneva): 280 CHF for 1 weekly course of 90 mns.
Membership and class fees are payable at the beginning of the season (you will receive instructions together with your registration confirmation). We do not want money or lack thereof to prevent passionate and dedicated kids from attending our classes. In case you are facing financial difficulties, please contact us by email to discuss of an arrangement.
We allow monthly payment.

Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 - 11:30. Meeting place by default: Plainpalais skatepark. In case of bad weather, we will take the students to the nearby Mail school playground for flat practice. Occasionally, we will take them to other skateparks in the region (details a week prior on our site) We will organize at the end of the season a mini contest open to all the kids. The date will be confirmed later by e-mail
Helmets and protections:
Helmets are absolutely MANDATORY. The student will not be able to participate to any given class without a helmet. Course will not be reimbursed. Early in the season, you may use bike helmets. A limited number of helmets are available for free at the Plainpalais skatepark.
We strongly recommend the use of protections for knees, elbows and wrists. They are available in major sport shops and at our partners': 242 shop and Tranzport.
At the beginning of the season, we will be able to lend a few skateboards (please reserve yours upon registration).
Drinks and snacks:
Plainpalais: sirop for free during time-out. Snacks can be purchased at a reasonable price on site. Outings: please plan to take with you water and snacks.
We will have a few skateboard to lend for initiations and trials
Please make sure your insurance covers risks related to skateboard practice
